The CHIANTI database has the following primary ASCII files for this ion:
contains the energy levels (in cm-1). It includes both experimental and theoretical values of the levels energies.
filename:si_1.elvlc Experimental energies from: Kramida, A., Ralchenko, Yu., Reader, J., and NIST ASD Team (2023). NIST Atomic Spectra Database (ver. 5.11), [Online]. Available: https://physics.nist.gov/asd [2024, August 29]. National Institute of Standards and Technology, Gaithersburg, MD. DOI: https://doi.org/10.18434/T4W30F Theoretical energies from: Dufresne, R.P., Del Zanna, G., Storey, P.J., 2021, MNRAS, 505, 3968 Produced using Autostructure and including level energy corrections based on NIST for all levels except 36. Correcting the last level affected A-values adversely. Formatted for the CHIANTI database by R.P. Dufresne on Tue Nov 24 13:28:18 2020 -1
contains wavelengths, gf and A values of the transitions. The wavelengths are based on the experimental energy levels and should be the best available. Wavelengths calculated from the theoretical energies are of an indeterminate accuracy and their values are presented as negative values of the calculated wavelength.
Theoretical data from: Tachiev G. I., Froese Fischer C., 2002, A&A, 385, 716, supplemented by data from ATSP2K and Autostructure calculations produced for Dufresne, R.P., Del Zanna, G., Storey, P.J., 2021, MNRAS, 505, 3968 Autostructure included level energy corrections based on NIST for all levels except 36. Correcting the last level affected A-values adversely. Used gf and A values for 36 -> 1,2,3,4,5 from AS because they better match Sandlin et al (1986) observed intensity ratios. contains the effective electron collision strengths scaled according to the rules formulated by Burgess and Tully (1992).
